TWO Thame lads have completed a 200 mile coast-to-coast trek across the width of the UK in just nine days.

Former Lord Williams’s pupils Matthew Randall and Alistair Box have raised more than £1,000 for their old school by doing their arduous walk.

The boys, who left the school last year, would like to extend a very big thank you to everyone, businesses, friends, family and teachers, who have been so supportive and contributed to raising the money.

In addition, thanks to the hard work of the staff at Lord Williams’s School, this October the boys will be travelling to St James’s Palace to receive their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award from Prince Phillip.

Donations can still be made to Pauline Andrews, bursar, at Lord Williams’s School.
