Organisers of a charity ball in aid of Special Needs and Parents (SNAP) based at John Radcliffe Hospital have launched an appeal for people to donate raffle prizes for the event at the Spread Eagle in Thame on October 4.

Prizes already on offer include hair and beauty vouchers, theatre tickets and pole dancing lessons.

Organiser Lara said: “This is our third year and we raised abour £5,000 last year, so we’re hoping to top that this year.”

She is supporting SNAP because her own daughter was in the unit with a rare blood disorder when she was born six years ago.

Lara said: “She’s fine now, but I just wanted to give something back.”

If you think you can donate a raffle prize, email Lara on laracollen@hotmail.com.
