For the sixth year in a row, the people of Thame have been invited to vote for the unsung heroes in their community.
Each year since 2009, Thame Town Council has encouraged people to put forward the names of those who they feel deserve recognition for the work that they do.
Previous winners include a disabled horse rider, a street cleaner and a resident who has lived in the town for half a century.
On Tuesday, May 27, residents can visit the market and cast their vote at the community stall.
Paper voting cards can be filled out at a number of retailers in the town and a full list can be found at www.thametowncouncil.gov.uk, as well as electronic voting forms.
Categories include Sporting Achievement, Person of Courage, Young Achiever and Service With A Smile.
A spokesman from the council said: “Each year is special as it is another opportunity to honour more people in Thame who are working under the radar to make the town a more vibrant, caring and kinder place to live.”
The closing date for nominations is Friday, June 13.
