A top town music club is all set for its biggest gig yet - with a fruity line-up!
The next musical offering, at The James Figg in Thame will be headlined by Jazz singer Luke Paulo on May 1. Upcoming star Luke will perform with his band The Grapefruit, in addition to a dozen supporting acts on the night.
This latest headline act is just one of many events held on the first Thursday of every month at the pub, Organisers say that the events are the biggest monthly night dedicated to showing off local musical talent in Thame.
Over the four years it has been running the event has seen a major increase in attendance.
Senior organiser Phil Westerman has every confidence in the gig, over 250 people attended last month’s event and Luke Paulo is expected to bring in even more music lovers.
He said: “He has a very cool, jazzy style which is very different from other local artists out there”
Doors open at 8pm, and Phil says that the event is a chance to see Luke before he makes it big.
