Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust, which was placed in special measures last year, is to report to councillors on the improvements it has made over the past nine months.
Bucks County Council’s health and adult social care select committee will be posing questions to executives of the trust, which runs Stoke Mandeville Hospital, as they seek to establish what improvements have taken place following Sir Bruce Keogh’s damning report in July last year.
The report listed a series of significant concerns over the trust, including doubts over its management, low staffing levels, poor morale, a so-called ‘blame culture’ and a lack of empathy over patient complaints.
Trust executives will appear before the committee at 9.45am on Tuesday April 15, at a meeting that is both open to the public and also available as a live webcast.
