Thame had a victorious return to action after being frozen out for four weeks over Christmas.
The Men’s Firsts coasted past promotion rivals Eastcote with a 7-3 away victory, while the Ladies Ones thrashed an experienced Amersham & Chalfont side 8-0.
From the start Thame dominated in midfield with Will Sawrey-Cookson, Gareth Birkett and Matt Snuggs retaining possession well.
The breakthrough was quick in coming when, after good work on the left from Sam Hall, Joe Robinson was able to fire home a smart finish.
A defensive mix-up from the normally solid Thame back-line gifted the opposition an equaliser and a multitude of wasted chances saw Thame go into the break with the scores level.
Thame stopped squandering chances in the second half and goals from Snuggs (2), Birkett and two more from Robinson saw off Eascote.
Tom Richards redeemed himself with a late goal, having previously inexplicably stopped the ball on the line with his foot moments earlier.
A converted penalty corner and a fine strike from the Eastcote forward made sure the game remained interesting, but in reality Thame ran out clear winners.
Thame Ladies were easy winners thanks to a hat-trick from leading goal-scorer Vikki Dawson and goals from Georgina Rudolph, Natasha Jewell, Shelley Bennett and Honour Schram de Jong.
