HOCKEY: Thame ladies first team continued to dominate the league with a one-sided 20-0 demolition of Oxford at home on Saturday.
The home side set the precedent within the first few minutes with a smart goal which opened the floodgates.
Sarah Sarey-Cookson with seven, Lizzy Greenwood-Hughes with eight and a cooly converted penalty flick from Bridie Williamson all contributed to the rout.
Man of the match went to Sawrey-Cookson but captain Charlotte Lynch was quick to praise all the whole team who performed like a well-oiled machine as they ruthlessly dispatched their opponents.
Thame Hockey Club train at Thame Leisure Centre on Wednesdays from 8pm.
