Thame Runners showed they had legs after a successful race at the annual Ridgeway Relay.
The race, starting at Ivinghoe Beacon and finishing at Marlborough leisure centre saw more than 40 teams from across the UK attend.
Thame finished fifth and 30th with overall times of 10 hours 31.37 and 12 hours 38.53 respectively.
The star runner for Thame A team was Richard Slater who completed legs eight and 10, a combined distance of 17 miles with just over an hour to recover between the two.
Captain, Carlton Hobbs, was very pleased with the record time that Thame achieved, made even more memorable by Slater and some quick individual performances.
Team B were also successful gaining 10 minutes on last year.
