Children from primary schools across the area came together for a tennis festival at the town’s courts.
More than 80 kids from five schools competed in the event, which was the culmination of four weeks free coaching from Thame Tennis Club.
Chairman of the club, Neil Morgan, said: “I’ve never seen so many people on six tennis courts.
“All the organisers and helpers have done a brilliant job – 80 children not just having a go at tennis but actually competing is a fantastic achievement.”
John Hampden Primary School were the eventual winners on the day after they beat Mill Lane in a closely-fought final.
