After winning the Great Central Midweek Cup last week, Aylesbury side IAS completed a fine double by sealing the league title with victory over Northchurch.
The 15/8 ball overs championship final was played at Long Marston to decide who would take the league crown.
IAS elected to bat first and got of to good start with Ghuffar (pictured) and Rehman putting on 35 runs for the second wicket after Ali Khan fell in the second over.
Ghuffar was caught out on 18 and in came left hander R Ullah who scored a quickfire 21 runs and gave Rehman (43 runs) good support.
When both of them were dismissed, Khuram and Qasim contributed with some quick runs at the end of the innings to get the total to 135-8 off 15 overs.
Nadeem and Qasim both got a wicket each early on but Northchurch continued to keep up with the run rate. A two-wicket haul from Ghuffar put the game in balance and as Boge (42) and Garraway (28) put on a solid partnership Northchurch seemed likely to go on and win.
But on came that man Qasim to bowl his second spell and he picked up the wickets of both the batsmen bowling out his four overs for 10 runs, taking four wickets.
Northchurch needed three runs off the last ball.
So it was left to Nadeem Raja to bowl an unplayable last delivery to win the final for IAS and seal a first ever Midweek Cup league title double ... all in the same week.
