Thame Boys U15s are the new Oxfordshire Youth Cup champions after they needed extra-time to see off Crowmarsh Youth Boys 3-1 in the final.
Thame started strongly and striker Dan Collins grabbed his 18th goal of the season midway through the first half to give Thame the lead.
Fellow forward Alfie Fleming was then left frustrated after having two goals somewhat harshly disallowed, before Crowmarsh controversially equalised with the last kick of the game, forcing extra-time.
Thame kept their cool as long-serving centre back James Mcstay eased any nerves when he powered a header home in the early stages of extra-time after a cross from Christian Warwick.
United continued to dominate before Collins pounced from a corner as George Ashworth headed the ball down and the in-form striker volleyed into the net from close range to make it 3-1.
That was good enough to secure victory and bring the cup back to Thame for the first time since 2007.
