Aylesbury-born West Ham starlet Rob Hall has extended his loan spell at Oxford United for another month.
The 18-year-old striker has scored six goal in 11 starts since joining Oxford on loan in September but has not scored in his last five.
He was recalled to Upton Park for a brief period in November when the Championship side were suffering an injury crisis but he was later allowed to return to Oxford.
Last week’s decision to extend the youngster’s stay until the New Year has delighted U’s manager Chris Wilder, who said: “He gives us something different up front, is a proven goalscorer and has fitted in really well here. It speaks volumes about our set-up that West Ham are happy to let him continue his footballing development with us.”
Hall’s loan fees have been covered by The 12th Man, a fund-raising system financed by supporters.
Oxford have already raised some £40,000 via the scheme in addition to funds the club itself generates.
Oxford currently sit in eighth in League Two with games against AFC Wimbledon and Crawley Town ahead.
