Aylesbury FC assistant boss Keith Walker says he and manager Craig Faulconbridge will consider blooding youngsters who ‘deserve their chance’ after revealing they consider the side safe from any outside chance of relegation.

The Moles are now comfortable in the Evo-Stik Southern Division One Central and will look to use some of the remaining games to give the club’s thriving youth section some first team experience – if they prove they deserve it.

“Myself and Craig are of the opinion that we are safe so we may look to blood youngsters as we see fit and of course if they deserve it,” Walker said.

While Walker said the FC squad was very settled at the moment, he revealed Ben Stevens has had to have an operation on an injury and admitted some forthcoming player suspensions could impact on the team.

Faulconbridge’s men entertain Godalming Town on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
