Former England player and manager Glenn Hoddle is taking part in the fourth Thame Arts and Literature Festival just down the road from Aylesbury.
The ex-Tottenham and Chelsea man will appear in conversation with the Guardian’s John Crace at Thame United Football Club in a pre-festival event on Thursday October 17 at 6pm.
Popular Sky Sports football pundit Hoddle is expected to talk about his playing and managerial career which also included spells at Swindon and Monaco.
The pass master was recently linked with a return to the England post in which he excelled in the late 90s, saying he felt he had ‘unfinished business’ with the national team.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the TAL website
