United, who were beaten 4-3 in their last league match at troubled Kettering, are on the road to AFC Hayes. The Ducks go into the match off the back of a morale boosting 2-0 win against Westfield in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.
Now boss Tony Joyce faces a test of keeping his players focused with a big second qualifying round match against Staines on the horizon next weekend.
Star striker Stacey Field will be looking to get more minutes under his belt after playing 85 away at Westfield in the original first qualifying round tie before following taht up with a start and a goal in the replay.
In other Ducks fixture news, the home match against North Greenford United has been rearranged. The match, which was cancelled as the Ducks will now be playing in the FA Cup on the original date, will now take place on Wednesday October 30, kick off 7.45pm.
Also on the road this afternoon are Aylesbury FC as they travel to 13th placed Northwood.
The Moles eased the pressure on manager Craig Faulconbridge will a vital 3-0 win over Aylesbury United’s landlords Leighton Town on Tuesday night.
That stopped the rot of three straight defeats, during which time FC conceded 12 goals in 3-2, 4-0 and 5-1 defeats.
