Aylesbury United will face Stotfold in their first league match of the new season after August fixtures were released on Wednesday night.

As long as there are no FA Cup replays, the game will take place on Wednesday August 15 at Bell Close.

After that follows a trip to Hillingdon Borough, and Buckinghamshire neighbours Holmer Green, before what is becoming a customary early-season clash with Dunstable Town.

Meanwhile, the Ducks will play Enfield 1893 in the season-opening FA Cup tie after the FA competition draws were announced this week.

Enfield are a familiar name to United supporters after many years of rivalry in the Isthmian League and cup contests.

The match will be played on Saturday August 11 at Bell Close. If the Ducks are victorious further familiar names await them in the form of Northwood FC (home) in the Preliminary Round, and then the mouthwatering prospect of old foes Chesham United (away) in the first qualifying round.

In the FA Vase, United will play either Kidlington or Bracknell Town at home on October 13.
