Aylesbury United will have to overcome Hadley to complete a cup double when they go head-to-head in the Premier Division Cup final.

United learned their opponents after Hadley clinched a dramatic 6-5 win on penalties against the Ducks’ local rivals Tring Athletic.

Having drawn 1-1 at Tring’s Grassroots Stadium, Hadley’s Selmet Karagozlu scored the decisive spot kick.

The Ducks have played their part in two thrillers against Hadley already this season featuring a whopping total of 17 goals – winning 6-4 and 4-3.

The final will take place at Berkhamsted FC on Wednesday May 1.

Meanwhile, United will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 22 games, one off their club record in all competitions, when they play Haringey on Wednesday night.

Should the Ducks avoid defeat, they will go into Saturday’s crunch match against Oxhey Jets – their main rivals for second place in the Spartan South Midlands Premier League – looking to equal the club record.
