Steve Bateman says he is not panicking just yet despite going into today’s home game against St Ives off the back of 11 defeats in 12 matches.
The Moles were beaten 3-1 loss at home to Kettering Town last Saturday but showed more promise in a 3-2 defeat at second-placed Rugby Town on Tuesday night.
In what is proving a familiar tale for the Moles this season, it was a case of good performances with no reward at the end of it.
Regardless of performances, though, Bateman admitted that results need to turn around soon.
He said: “It is encouraging that we are regularly competing in these games but at the same time it’s frustrating because it’s the same old pattern.
“We are more than matching opponents but then we are ultimately made to pay for sloppy defending.
“I am confident we can turn things around but it must happen sooner rather than later.”
