Youngsters from Weedon were celebrating today as their new play equipment was officially unveiled.
Slides, swings, seesaws, climbing walls and wobble dishes are just some of the equipment now available at the park on the village green.
The equipment was updated through money put forward by Weedon Parish Council and a £47,000 grant from Waste Recycling Environmental Limited, which gives out cash from the landfill tax.
Chair of Weedon Parish Council Joanna Rose said: “The new equipment has completely transformed the play area and we have had a lot of positive feedback so far.
“One of the best things about this new equipment is that childen of all ages can now play together without having to be segregated which is great for families.”
