Fire crews have issued a warning following a blaze involving two large garden sheds in Thame.
At approximately 2.30pm on Friday afternoon Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service were called to Kings Close in the town.
The first crew on scene were faced with what the fire service described as a rapidly escalating fire involving two large garden sheds.
The heat and flames had just started to affect the outside of the nearby properties when firefighters arrived and they were able to bring the blaze under control using high pressure jets.
Incident commander station manager Williams said: “The occupiers dialling 999 immediately allowed this incident to be dealt with safely, stopping any spread to the inside of the houses nearby and there were no reported injuries as a result of this fire.”
The crews remained in attendance to damp down the remains of the fire and were assisted by colleagues from Wheatley and Aylesbury.
