The new leader of Aylesbury Vale District Council has wielded the axe in a cabinet reshuffle which has seen two prominent members dropped.

The rest of the cabinet remains unchanged.

Pam Pearce will continue as the council’s cabinet member for community matters, Carole Paternoster will continue as the council’s cabinet member for strategic planning, Brian Roberts continues as cabinet member with responsibility for civic amenities and Sir Beville Stanier is cabinet member for environment and health.

Mr Edmonds will continue to chair the strategic development control committee.
