UPDATED: Two injured after crash outside Holiday Inn

A man and a woman had to be freed from their car after a crash outside the Holiday Inn.

Three cars were involved in the collision which happened on the A41 in Weston Turville just before 3.30pm on Tuesday.

The man was freed by firefighters after the roof was removed from his vehicle and the woman was helped out of her vehicle by paramedics and checked over at the scene.

Two men and two women were released uninjured, all from the same vehicle.

Although it was originally believed that the man and woman had suffered serious injuries, their conditions were judged to be minor later that day.

The A41 Tring Road was reopened later that day.
