Aylesbury may be one of the furthest places in Britain from the coast – but on Sunday it was transformed into a seaside town.
Aylesbury-On-Sea in Kingsbury is one of the biggest town centre events on the calendar.
It was packed full of activities and games, including bouncy castles, hook a duck, donkey rides, balloon modelling, fairground rides, face painting and themed take home crafts.
Children enjoyed playing in the boxes of sand while the smiley land train and donkey rides were busy all day.
The LuLaLa’s and Saxes En Que entertained the crowds with their retro-themed music.
The event, organised by Aylesbury Town Council, took place from 11am-4pm.
