The owner of a Haddenham sports therapy business is volunteering her services at the Paralympic Games this summer to raise money for charity.

Viv Slater, of Move Well Massage, will use her sports and remedial massage skills at a training camp, treating athletes of nations who cannot afford to employ their own physical therapists.

Ms Slater is doing the work to raise money for WheelPower, the Stoke Mandeville-based national charity for wheelchair sport.

She said: “I wanted to volunteer my skills in order to support the work of this worthwhile charity.”
