The Grange School in Aylesbury is celebrating after Ofsted inspectors judged it as “good and improving”.
The main findings of the report were that the students were proud of their learning and were being well challenged and supported and as a result had high levels of achievement.
Staff were also delighted after their teaching was rated as good, with some outstanding elements. It was noted by the inspectors that attainment is improving across all subjects and also some rapid improvements in English, mathematics and science.
Headteacher Vince Murray said: “This is great news for everybody associated with The Grange now, and also those who are joining us in the future. We are all taking confidence from this positive report and we hope to build on it in the future. All the students and staff at the school should hold their heads high and feel very proud of themselves.”
