THAME: Traffic grinds to a halt after three-car crash

Motorists has a lucky escape after a three-car crash brought traffic to a standstill.

Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were called to the scene on the Chinnor Road, near Aston Rowant, at 4.14pm last 
Friday, along with three fire engines and ten police cars.

Two motorists were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

A spokesperson for the South Central Ambulance Service said that paramedics assessed three patients – including one for a shoulder injury and another for a wrist injury.

Rush hour traffic was directed onto the A40 towards Stokenchurch.
