Thame’s own David Bailey has joined his famous namesake to showcase his photos alongside the iconic photographer’s at an A-list charity auction.

Mr Bailey, a staff nurse, rubbed shoulders with a wealth of celebrity talent including Kate Moss and Sir Philip Green at London’s Bulgari Hotel.

Along with five other David Baileys, he was chosen to shoot a series of images demonstrating the theme of ‘speed’ on the Samsung NX300 camera.

His pictures were then displayed and auctioned alongside prints by the ‘real’ David Bailey, taken with the same model.

The Thame man’s three photos sold for £1,467, contributing to a total of £64,200 raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care on the night.
