Hotel staff are celebrating after becoming one of only 30 venues in the UK to receive a gold standard accreditation.
The Oxford Belfry, near Thame, is the only venue in Oxfordshire to have received the accolade this quarter.
Feedback which led to the award was collected from 22,500 event hosts and customers across 370 venues, through research conducted by BDRC Continental, the UK’s largest independent market research agency.
Julian White, general manager at The Oxford Belfry said: “For those businesses that still need to be tempted out of the cities for their conferences and meetings, the VenueVerdict accreditation reinforces that The Oxford Belfry offers both a great, accessible location just off the M40, together with first class flexible conference facilities, excellent customer service, and ample free parking.
“There is no better way to be recognised for our commitment to the success of our meetings than by feedback from the organisers and delegates of events we have hosted here.”
The Oxford Belfry is one of six QHotels to have received the standard which comes less than two weeks after the group was crowned industry leader, winning the AA Hotel Group of The Year in the AA Hospitality Awards.
The AA award honours outstanding standards of product and service across its portfolio of 21 unique and luxury four-star hotels within the UK.
It also follows the group receiving top honours earlier in the year with VenueVerdict’s Gold Standard Group award and No.1 Large Group award.
