Twenty-eight boys and girls from the First Thame Cub packs braved the rain at a County Cub camp in Banbury recently.

The theme of the camp was “The Olympics” and the children enjoyed a wide variety of activities including hockey, football, shooting, archery and cycling.

In the evening the youngsters participated singing traditional scout songs around the camp fire.

A spokesman for First Thame Cubs said: “We all had a great time, and lots of thanks to all the leaders, cooks and parents who helped out.”
