Organisers of a charity ball to raise money for a special care unit which cares for poorly newborn babies are appealing for raffle prizes.
The glitzy Hollywood glamour-themed event will be held at the Spread Eagle Hotel in Thame on Saturday, October 4 at 7pm.
The evening will include a raffle to help raise much-needed funds for the Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents (SSNAP) unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Organiser Lara Collen supports SSNAP after her daughter spent time there when her daughter was born with a rare blood disorder six years ago.
Lara is holding the event for for the third year running, and is hoping to top last year’s fundraising total of £5,000.
The mum, of Estover Way, Chinnor, said: “My daughter is absolutely fine now, but I just want to give something back.”
The ladies already have 19 prizes including pole dancing lessons and hair and beauty vouchers up for grabs, but are looking for around 20 more. If you want to buy tickets for or think you may be able to help with raffle prizes, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
