A teenage girl was grabbed by the wrists after two men snuck up behind her during a robbery on a footpath near Aylesbury College.

The 18 year old was walking in College Path behind the college towards the bus stop in Oxford Road, when she noticed two men following her.

They appeared directly behind her, one grabbed her wrists and the second knocked her handbag to the ground, from where they stole her purse.

The men ran off towards the Bourg Walk Bridge and the town centre.

The incident happened at 1pm on Wednesday, March 19, but police only released the details today (Thursday, March 27).

The first offender is 6ft tall, in his mid twenties of a big build.

He wore a plain red hooded jumper, dark jeans and trainers, with he had a tattoo on his ring finger.

The second man is also 6ft in his twenties, wearing a plain black hooded jumper and carried an electric blue Adidas shoulder bag with three white stripes.
