SCHOOL children in Thame and the surrounding area will get the chance to try their hand at a whole host of sports and activities during the summer holidays after the district council announced its holiday programme.
The Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire District Council have joined together, with sports clubs and leisure operators set to run activities for six weeks between Monday, July 25 and Friday, September 2.
The activities on offer this year range from monkey mayhem play sessions for the very young to kayaking and trail riding for those who are slightly older.
There are also a wide range of more traditional sports available such as athletics, football, netball and squash.
The sessions are available for children up to 18 years old.
A full programme has been given to every school.
