Wendover sculptors Andrew Sinclair and Diane Coates are curating a major six-month long exhibition at Hatfield House next year.
Some of the country’s leading figurative sculptors have already agreed to take part in the ‘Imaginary Realism’ exhibition which runs from April 5 to September 30, 2014.
The pair run The Sculpture School in Wendover, where they teach their art to dozens of students each year from all over the UK and Europe.
They made the news earlier this year when they unveiled busts of Doctor Who actor Colin Baker and county council chairman Carl Etholen.
But the exhibition at Hatfield House, a country house in Hertfordshire which was the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I, is the biggest event they have overseen so far.
Diane said: “This show will be all about skill and craftsmanship, and we’re very excited by the response from fellow sculptors who have agreed to join us.
“This promises to be a truly spectacular exhibition and we hope as many people from Bucks can travel to Hatfield to enjoy it.”
