Schoolchildren have gone on a London tour and received a cheque for £1,200 after winning an IT competition.
Year 5 and 6 pupils at Bedgrove Junior School entered the Make IT Happy competition and created infographics explaining important internet safety issues.
Their entry was named as the south east regional winner and won them the cash and a trip for five children.
Jessica Beech, the school’s ICT coordinator said: “Eleven children contributed their work towards the winning entry so it was a tough decision to make.”
The trip included going on the London Eye and culminated with a ceremony and afternoon tea in the members’ dining room at Parliament.
