CHILDREN will be able to watch Santa and his friends parade through Aylesbury on Sunday.

The annual Santa’s parade starts at 10.30am, and as usual hundreds of families with young children will line the route.

Father Christmas, his helpers, Snowman, Snow Queen, a stilt walking fairy and acrobatic elves will parade through High Street, Market Square, Bourbon Street and into Friars Square.

They will be joined by dancing troops, cheerleaders, the mayor and chairman of Aylesbury Vale District Council.

Afterwards children will be able to meet Santa in his specially built free grotto inside the shopping centre.

Outside there will be free animal petting with donkeys, ponies, chickens and rabbits.

There will also be free face painting and pottery painting.

The activities run from 11am to 3pm, after the parade has finished.
