DRIVERS could face disruption for the next six weeks after roadworks began at both Kings Road and Queens Road.
They are being carried out between the junction with Towersey Road and 20 metres south of its junction with Kings Road.
The county council will also resurface the mini-roundabout at the junction of Kingsey Road and Kings Road.
The roadworks began on Monday and are due to continue for about six weeks, subject to any severe weather.
The working hours for the roadworks are expected to be from 7.30am until 5pm on weekdays and Saturdays.
Closures of both roads is needed so that work can be undertaken and the order will be in place while it takes place.
Contractors say that people who live in the road will stll be able to come and go at all times but private vehicles will not always be able to drive in because of the nature of the works being undertaken.
