Retired doctor charged with further sex offences

A pensioner has been charged with further historic rape and indecent assault offences which allegedly took place at hospitals in Aylesbury during the 1980s.

Dr Michael Salmon, 79, a retired consultant, allegedly carried out the offences, which involved three victims at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital between 1980 and 1987.

Dr Salmon, of Park Lane, Salisbury, Wiltshire has been charged with five counts of indecent assault against a girl under the age of 16 and two counts of rape.

He has been bailed to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates Court on June 16.
