THE producer who brought Midsomer Murders to Thame is to step down after his refusal to include ethnic minorities in the show.

In an interview with the Radio Times Brian True-May (pictured) stated that having ethnic minority actors in the show would mean Midsomer would “no longer be an English village.”

True-May will finish the current series before stepping down this year.
