THE Sheldonian Theatre has released two classical music concerts, taking place in October.
First is Fretwork on Friday, October 21, where they will be performing a specially commissioned arrangement of Bach’s peerless Goldberg Variations.
A review by The Times described the concert as: “It is hard to imagine consort playing of greater refinement of subtlety than this.”
It will be at the Sheldonian Theatre on Broad Street at 7.30pm.

Then, on October the Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra will be performing at the Sheldonian Theatre.
The performance is described by the theatre as: “A sparkling classical programme performed by top conservatoire students under the baton of a distinguished conductor. Talent and vivacity will be at the fore during an evening introduced by celebrated polymath, Lord Robert Winston, Chairman of the RCM Council. A truly fresh slant on much-loved repertoire.”
