BUDDING actors raised just shy of £1,000 with their performance of Murder at the Manor.

The teens, aged 15-17 from Thame Youth Theatre, raised the impressive amount of funds on behalf of Thame Rotary Club for the town’s charities including Thame and District Day Centre, Air Ambulance and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf People.

The play, performed by the youngsters on March 10 at Longwick Village Hall, took place in the 1920s, when the Mayor of Thame was murdered and the public were asked to identify the suspect and the reasons.
