THE owner of a gardening business was landed with a heavy fine after he was caught dumping a customer’s rubbish in Nether Winchendon.

Damian Nakia Vincent Onfroy, of Carrington Road, Aylesbury pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Magistrates Court to illegal dumping.

A lorryload of waste was found blocking the road at Barrack Hill in April last year.

Examination of the dumped waste led to a customer of Onfroy’s, who said the company boss had arranged for it to be taken in a pick-up truck.

Magistrates fined him £375 and ordered him to pay £625 towards the prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £15 was also levied – a total to pay of £1,015.

The case was brought to court by Buckinghmashire County Council, on behalf of the Joint Waste Partnership.
