Letter: Libraries have to adapt to times

I am amazed that you printed the letter supposedly from a Dr Cederic Mugwort OBE on Friday, February 27, complaining about Thame Library.

Does he not realise that all our libraries have to adapt and diversify, to find new ways to attract more people or we will lose them?

I am a regular user of Thame Library and love to see parents with their young children happily enjoying stories and songs with the staff.

Everyone working there is always very pleasant and helpful.

The library has a lovely friendly atmosphere and is a great social asset to Thame.

May I suggest that if ‘Dr Mugwort’ doesn’t like our library he uses his local one?
