CHILDREN at Mill Lane School in Chinnor got all eco-friendly with eachother to build a greenhouse made completely of plastic bottles.
During the past 18 months, pupils have gathered up 1,500 plastic bottles for the project and worked as a team to nail them onto the greenhouse.
The school was also awarded vouchers through the RHS campaign for school gardening and these were used to purchase the frame and materials.
The innovative greenhouse is already being put to good use as the gardening club at the school are growing tomatoes inside.
They shot up to five feet in just two weeks since it was installed.
Rare pyramidal orchids have also returned to the school’s nature area.
