Schoolchildren have had a special visit from a furry friend to learn about pet care.
Blue Cross Centre volunteer Christine Breden brought her docile Dalmatian Leo to Oakley CofE School last week.
While it was all good fun, there was also a serious side to the day, with a presentation focusing on safety around dogs.
The children asked a lot of questions and all enjoyed meeting Leo.
Class teacher Miss Rogers said: “All the children were engaged and thoroughly enjoyed meeting Leo and Christine. We would certainly recommend a visit like this to other primary schools.”
