A new gallery opening got off on the right foot with an appearance from a pair of Strictly Come Dancing stars.
Dance partners Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace – who have appeared on the popular BBC1 ballroom dancing show – came to support their friend and former West End actress Susannah Fellows at the opening of her new gallery, Fitch & Fellows, in East Street, Thame.
The flamboyant pair are starring in Dance Til Dawn with Ms Fellows’ actor husband Teddy Kemper, who persuaded them to come along to the opening of the new venture.
The gallery, which is on the site of John the Stitcher’s shop, sells a quirky selection of unusual ceramics, sculpture and jewellery along with leatherwork made by Susannah herself.
Flavia, who is married to English actor Jimi Mistry, had visited the shop before it was refurbished and transformed.
On her return, she said: “I absolutely loved coming back here and I can’t believe how much the place has changed!”
The gallery is open every week from Tuesday to Saturday.
