VISITORS from Germany and Austria came to Barley Hill School as part of its annual international week.
Each year group also studied a continent in more depth.
Year 5 chose Europe as their continent and held a cheese tasting morning. The cheese was donated by Waitrose, with accompanying tasting notes. All the children had an enjoyable tasting session and wrote up their findings.
Max wrote: “The cheese tasting was lots of fun. We didn’t know whether we’d like it or not.”
When describing the Montagnolo cheese, George added: “I liked the strength of it.”
