Former The Voice contestant Tyler James is the star attraction at this year’s Astonbury at Ellwood House.
The British singer-songwriter headlines what promises to be a night full of live music and great entertainment on July 13.
The one day music festival is organised by Aston Rowant Cricket Club and event organiser, Gemma Walker, said “We are delighted to have Tyler James performing at Astonbury.”
In 2012 Tyler finished joint second on BBC show, The Voice, after being mentored by Will.I.Am.
Under the Black Eyed Peas star’s wing he excelled in the competition and with the experience he gained he scored a recording contract with Island Records. The artist will be performing songs from his second studio album A Place I Go, which was released in October.
The album serves as a follow up to the debut album, The Unlikely Lad and marks Tyler James’ second full-length release with Island Records.
Joining Tyler will be The Muttz Knuts, who put in a stellar performance in 2012, Antix, New Bays, Tim Matthews, The Drakes and Tom Carr.
