Aylesbury murder inquiry: Fifth person arrested over crossbow killing

A third man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of Darrell Farnham, bringing the total number of people arrested during the inquiry to five.

The 43 year old was arrested by officers last night (Thursday) and is currently in police custody.

Mr Farnham, 44, was found dead at his Belgrave Road home on Sunday night after being shot through the chest with a crossbow bolt.

A 42-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and a 36-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, both detained on Thursday, remain in police custody.

A 40-year-old man from Aylesbury arrested on suspicion of murder and a 37-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender are on bail until today (Friday).

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to come forward and speak to officers.
