NEARLY £11,000 has been raised by a four-hour Jazzerthon at Thame United Football Club.
Around 150 people took part in the marathon Jazzercise event to raise money for a bowel cancer scanner at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
Dedicated dancers aged 16 to 70 strutted their stuff last Saturday in fancy dress outfits, giving an extra sense of fun to the exercise which blends aerobics, yoga, pilates and kickboxing movements into dance routines set to music.
Fundraising organiser Barbara Pedrosa said: “We were delighted with how it went.”
