For those of us who found themselves struggling in a pile of wrapping paper at Christmas, Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity was on hand to help out again this year.
The team pitched up for a sixth year in Friars Square to wrap everything from woks to engagement rings in exchange for a small donation.
Karen Shardlow of the charity, said: “We get a mix of kids with presents for their parents and husbands who want the wrapping of their gifts for their wives.
“It’s really nice, it’s really nice to chat to people.
“We have had some strange things over the years.
“But it actually helps us come up with some ideas for Christmas.”
The charity ran the wrapping stall from December 20 to Christmas Eve with a mix of staff and volunteers.
Last year the stall managed to raise more than £1,800.
Mrs Shardlow added: “It’s our last fundraiser of the year and it’s a really nice way to finish off.
